There are so many options! <br />Do I eat meat or am I vegan?<br />Should I be a man or a woman? <br />Should I be straight or gay? <br />Should I be Muslim / anti-Muslim / join ISIS?<br />People become confounded by choice. In the UK, and many other countries, choice is the holy grail of personal freedom, but it makes navigating modern life confusing as hell. For all of us.<br />Ref the transgender issue: I know most people will ask, why the hell would you want to question / change your gender? To understand how truly awful it is to believe you've been born in the wrong body, you have to talk to someone who's in that situation. If you really feel like you are a man, but born in a woman's body, it is excruciatingly painful to have to conform to society's way of viewing your sex.
